# Defang Station > A hosted, persistent workspace for Claude Code and Codex, signed in with the owner's provider accounts. $39/month for one Station, plus your own AI subscription. Your first hour is free, no card needed. After that, a card starts a 7-day free trial (one per customer). Checkout shows the exact date of your first charge. Hosted Station runs on Azure in the United States, Canada or the European Union, chosen from where the owner signs up and shown on the Station's page. Agent Box is the self-hostable open-source runtime. One Station per account; no shared seats. Published previews are public. GitHub triggers require setup. Defang Deploy and cloud infrastructure are separate from the Station subscription. ## Product and workflow pages - [Run Claude Code in the cloud](https://station.defang.io/page-content/run-claude-code-in-the-cloud.md): Give Claude Code an always-on Station, and Codex too if you use it. Start a task, close your laptop, and pick the conversation back up from your phone. Meanwhile your agents can publish what they build, ship it to your own cloud, and pick up new GitHub issues once you connect your Station. - [Run Codex in the cloud](https://station.defang.io/page-content/run-codex-in-the-cloud.md): Give Codex an always-on Station, and Claude Code too if you use it. Start a task, close your laptop, and pick it back up from the Codex app or ChatGPT on your phone. Meanwhile your agents can publish what they build, ship it to your own cloud, and pick up new GitHub issues once you connect your Station. - [Build beyond your app builder](https://station.defang.io/page-content/build-beyond-your-app-builder.md): If you’ve outgrown an app builder like Lovable, Bolt or Replit, bring the project to a Station. Claude Code, Codex or both work on your code, and you decide where it ships. - [Always-on workspace](https://station.defang.io/page-content/persistent-workspaces.md): Claude Code, Codex or both keep working on your Station while you’re away, and your files, tools and conversations stay put between visits. Sign back in and keep going. - [Share real links](https://station.defang.io/page-content/shareable-previews.md): Get a real public link for the site or app your agent builds. It’s hosted on your Station, and when you’re ready for a proper launch, Defang Deploy takes it to your own cloud. - [Events wake your agent](https://station.defang.io/page-content/github-triggers.md): Ask your agent to connect your Station once. After that, a new GitHub issue or an error report from your own live site can wake it while you’re away. - [Work from anywhere](https://station.defang.io/page-content/remote-access.md): Check on your agents from your phone or another computer. Claude’s apps talk straight to Claude Code on your Station, and the Codex app or ChatGPT on your phone connects to Codex. - [Bring your agent](https://station.defang.io/page-content/bring-your-agent.md): Claude Code and Codex come installed on every Station, so you can use one or mix and match both on the same files. Sign in with the accounts you already pay for, and your AI bill stays with your AI provider. - [Deploy to your cloud](https://station.defang.io/page-content/deploy-to-your-cloud.md): Station is where your agents build. When it’s time to launch, Defang Deploy ships the app to dev, staging or production in your own cloud account. - [Station vs self-hosting](https://station.defang.io/page-content/station-vs-self-hosting.md): The Agent Box runtime under Station is open source. You can pay us to run it or run it yourself, and the choice mostly comes down to how much upkeep you want to own. - [Station vs Prized](https://station.defang.io/page-content/station-vs-prized.md): Both give your coding agent a home beyond your laptop. The difference is how you connect, who maintains it, and where the work ends up. - [Station vs Replit](https://station.defang.io/page-content/station-vs-replit.md): Replit is an all-in-one app builder, while Station gives a home to the agents and code you already have. Which one fits depends on what you’ve outgrown. - [Station vs Claude Code and Codex cloud](https://station.defang.io/page-content/station-vs-claude-code-and-codex-cloud.md): Anthropic and OpenAI each run their agent in their own cloud, and both are good for handing off a task and getting a pull request back. A Station runs both agents on the same files and keeps your work running across sessions. ## Guides - [Station guides](https://station.defang.io/docs/): every guide below, in one list - [What is a Station?](https://station.defang.io/docs/what-is-a-station/): What a Station is, what persists on it between sessions, and what it does not replace. - [Connect your accounts](https://station.defang.io/docs/connect-accounts/): Sign Claude Code and Codex in, pair WhatsApp, and reach your agents from the apps you already use. - [Security & credentials](https://station.defang.io/docs/security/): What Defang stores, what stays on your Station, and what answers at its public address. - [Why we built Station](https://station.defang.io/docs/why-we-built-station/): The gap we kept running into, why Anthropic’s and OpenAI’s own clouds do not close it, and what the product does not do yet. - [Open core: what is and is not open source](https://station.defang.io/open-source/) - [FAQ](https://station.defang.io/faq/)
